Meanwhile, Garuda from Indonesia won the first prize in the international board battle category.
The final round took place at the Lam Vien Square in Da Lat City, which is the capital of the province, located in Vietnam's Central Highlands region.
The 12 participating teams included nine Vietnamese groups – Game On Crew, Kallus, Milky Way Crew, Str8 Up, Hanoi X Girls, Spacex, S4 Crew, Sud Crew, and Lyricíst – and three international dance teams, namely Planet Lock from Thailand, Garuda from Indonesia, and Goat from Japan.
The event also gathered several popular singers like Anh Tu, Anh Thi, Trung Hieu, and the Thai music band De GIFT.
The judges of the final round comprised three choreographers Viet Max, Viet Thanh, and Rochka Noel.
All the 12 dance crews staged their best performances in the competition, featuring beautiful choreography and music.
Tran Diep My Dung, vice-secretary of the provincial committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and member of the organizing board, said that the competition was expected to promote the image of Lam Dong as a safe, friendly, and attractive destination and to lure more visitors at home and overseas to the highland locality.
