Da Lat Music Night Run kicks off Lam Dong Tourism Golden Week in Vietnam’s Central Highlands

The 2024 Da Lat Music Night Run kicked off in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong on Saturday morning, aiming to draw approximately 5,000 tourists to initiate Lam Dong’s summer tourism season and serving as the inaugural event for the third Lam Dong Tourism Golden Week.
The race, designed as a scenic tour around Xuan Huong Lake, offers participants a unique blend of music events held at various spots along the route.
The event aims to enhance the tourist experience in Lam Dong’s Da Lat City, focusing on leisurely enjoyment rather than competitive athleticism.
Under the theme ‘Lam Dong - The Rendezvous of Flowers and Music,’ the third Lam Dong Tourism Golden Week features nine flagship programs at the provincial level and 26 associated events in districts and cities until June 6.
Highlights include folk and professional art performances, showcases of ethnic music and culture, culinary delights from Da Lat, and the opportunity to experience the historic Da Lat train carriage with food and musical entertainment.
On this occasion, the Lam Dong Province Museum is offering free admission from 7:30 am to 9:00 pm daily until June 6, introducing a collection of the Nguyen Dynasty (1802–1945)’s antiques to the public for the first time.
The week-long celebration anticipates welcoming approximately 400,000 visitors eager to explore and partake in the diverse offerings.
