As autumn bids farewell to Quang Tri Province, the mountains adorned with Formosan sweet gum trees transform into a picturesque landscape, exhibiting enchanting hues of pink, orange, and red.

Formosan sweet gum trees blanket mountains across the province’s Huong Hoa District, drawing in photographers and visitors who hope to capture the poetic colors as they overtake the lush local forest.

Liquidambar formosana, commonly known as Formosan sweet gum trees and Chinese sweet gum trees, grow in forests at altitudes over 500 meters above sea level.

According to locals, as the mountains climb higher, hues of autumn colors taken on by the leaves become deeper and bolder.
