Christmas are still weeks away but numerous cafés and restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City have transformed themselves into winter wonderlands with festive decorations, holiday-themed drinks, and even snow machines.

One of these restaurants is Tiệm ăn Nhà Khói, located at 82 Street 36 in Linh Dong Ward, Thu Duc City.

“On weekends, we welcome thousands of visitors, and several hundred during the week,” said the restaurant manager, Nguyen Ngoc Nhu Quynh.

According to Quynh, the restaurant began putting up Christmas decorations in early October and currently boasts two photo areas festooned with Christmas trees, gift boxes, snowmen, Christmas stocking, and snow.

“Christmas is a special occasion, so we want everyone to be able to enjoy a festive experience by offering a nice place for young people to take photos and for families to enjoy quality time together,” she explained.

The venue opens at 7:00 am for coffee service, serves food from 10:00 am onward, and closes at 11:00 pm.

On weekends, the coffee service lasts until 4:00 pm.

Tiệm ăn Nhà Khói’s snow machine blankets the restaurant in fluffy white foam every 15 minutes from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

"The place is open, beautiful, and really captures the winter vibes," said Tran Ngoc, a visitor from Thu Duc City. "They spray lots of snow -- it feels like winter. I’m happy with the photos I took today."

Thuy Linh, another guest at the restaurant, agreed, saying the Christmas decorations were even prettier than what she had imagined, and she was particularly pleased with the reasonable prices of the drinks.

Tiệm ăn Nhà Khói goes all out with seasonal decorations.

In spring, cherry blossoms adorn the restaurant, transforming it into a forest in the summer, and in autumn, it is decorated with vibrant red maple leaves.
