This photo captures Nguyen Hue Flower Street in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City from above with no visitors, which opposes the venue's usual crowded scene.
Filipino photographer Jet Anthony De La Cruz told Tuoi Tre News that he took this picture at 4:30 in the morning of the first day of this year's Tet (Lunar New Year festival).
"This year, the most anticipated flower street is truly a sight to behold, boasting a captivating dragon design wrapped around as a centerpiece to mark the celebration of the upcoming year," De La Cruz wrote a caption to the photo posted on his Instagram handle @jetjetdelacruz.
"Additionally, the abundance of beautiful flowers further enhances the festive atmosphere of this year’s event."
The Nguyen Hue Flower Street, a staple for Tet in Ho Chi Minh City in recent years, was opened on February 7 night and attracted thousands of visitors across the city.
The street, with decorations under the Year of the Dragon theme stretching around 600 meters, was originally the Nguyen Hue pedestrian street in District 1.
