The Vietnam Phở Festival 2024 will take place in Seoul, South Korea from October 5 to 6, promising Korean foodies an amazing opportunity to fill their bellies with special versions of Vietnam’s famed national dish.
The event will be held at Seoul’s Pie Factory, located at 441 Gwangnaru-ro in Gwangjin-gu.
'Pho,’ one of Vietnam’s most well-known dishes, is made with fresh rice noodles, broth, and meat.
The festival will showcase Vietnam's top chefs and offer a wide range of exciting activities for participants to enjoy.
Pho is widely considered Vietnam's important cultural heritage, connecting people over several generations.
It has also gained serious attention on the world stage over the past several years and the upcoming Vietnam Phở Festival 2024 in Seoul is an illustration of this growing global popularity.
Chefs tapped to attend the festival have pledged that each bowl of pho they serve at the Vietnam Phở Festival 2024 will feature a combination of passion, skill, and tradition.
In addition to pho, the festival will boast nearly 60 booths and a variety of artistic performances.
The festival is co-organized by Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper and Saigontourist Group under the direction of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the administration of Ho Chi Minh City.
This year’s event will feature over 20 well-known pho brands, including PhoDau, PhoPhu Gia, PhoSen, PhoThin Bo Ho - 1 Hang Tre, and PhoTa.
Day of Phở (December 12) was initiated by Tuoi Tre in 2017 and has been held annually since then.
The event went international for the first time in 2023 when Tuoi Tre hosted it in Japan under the name of Vietnam Phở Festival.
The Vietnam Phở Festival in Japan attracted more than 85,000 visitors, as well as major news agencies, popular Japanese YouTubers, and TikTok influencers.
