Than Tho Lake, one of the iconic landmarks in Da Lat City of Lam Dong Province, is being transformed into Delight Park Da Lat, which is expected to become the largest light and flower-themed park in Vietnam, authorities announced on Friday.

The main part of the project, a flower and light park, will open to the public during Tet (Vietnamese Lunar New Year holiday), according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

As part of Da Lat's efforts to boost night-time economic growth, the area around the lake and the surrounding 39-hectare pine forest will be transformed into a vibrant light park during evenings, while daytime sightseeing activities will take place as usual.

Pham Tuan Anh, marketing director of Delight Park Da Lat, introduced a night-time tour which will combine advanced lighting technology with the natural beauty of the lake.

The flowers, pine forests, and the lake will be illuminated to create an enchanting, magical experience for visitors.

The park is poised to become Vietnam’s largest light park, offering a unique blend of natural scenery and modern technology, he elaborated.
