The People Committee of District 3 in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday afternoon organized a Vespa tour to famous attractions around the district.
Entitled 'Explore Colorful District 3 on Vespa Scooters,' the tour took its participants to Monument of Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc, Chantarangsay, the first Khmer Buddhist Temple in Saigon, District 3’s inner-city waterway wharf, and other historical relics.

The tour, designed by the Vietnam Travel and Marketing Transports JSC (Vietravel), won the district’s tourism product design contest in 2022.
The contest aimed to exploit, utilize, and promote the existing tourism value of District 3.
According to Le Truong Hien Hoa, deputy director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, the city’s tourism industry is recovering strongly and District 3 is among those with potential tourism resources.
