Authorities in Dong Thap Province, located in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta region, will organize a provincial-level mango festival in July to promote the potential growth of local mango products.

The 2023 Mango Festival aims to connect enterprises, stimulate production and trade, as well as attract investors to the mango processing and exporting industry.

It is also expected to help promote Cao Lanh mango products and local mango-related tourism.

A wide range of activities are planned for the festival, including trade fairs, exhibitions of mango products and other Dong Thap specialties, a display of agricultural equipment, application of science and technology to the mango industry, a virtual reality exhibition space dedicated to 'the Mango Kingdom of Dong Thap,' and a number of contests.

In addition, there will be seminars on the mango industry development and farmer celebrations, as well as the establishing of an association of the Dong Thap mango industry.

Furthermore, the fest will focus on the application of digital transformation, product traceability, and the introduction of farming areas.
