A large number of tourists flock to the south-central province of Binh Dinh to treat themselves to the beauty of a springtime hallmark: blossoming jungle flame flowers, also known as jungle geraniums, flame of the woods, or its scientific name Ixora Coccinea.
Ta Ma, a spring flowing through Vinh Hiep Commune in Vinh Thanh District, has turned into an Instagrammable spot for those who love capturing photos under the orange shade of the large, blossoming trees.
The trees, which grow for several kilometers along the spring, create a magnificent look for the location with their flowers blooming in yellow, orange, and red clusters scattered throughout the canopy.
On peak days, the spring can attract thousands of visitors.
“Breathtaking and overwhelmingly beautiful” is what visitors said when they saw the scene.

“I was surprised and excited seeing this beautiful place,” said Nguyen Thuy Trang, a visitor from the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai.
“All the trees are blossoming their best and blanketing a red shade over the spring, which made everyone fall in love with the scene."
Meanwhile, Huynh Van Thanh who came from Ho Chi Minh City expressed his hope to bring back his family to the place next year.
“My children love this place," he explained.
"Here they were able to play in the middle of such a beautiful place as well as swim in a cool fresh spring.”

According to local people, the trees have been here for a long time and normally blossom in March every year.
However, this year marks the first time they have seen the flowers in such a pretty full bloom, as the weather has been different with strong sunlight but cold air.
The place has become more and more popular thanks to people coming and posting photos of it on social media.
“Since this place started to attract visitors, we have regularly dispatched staff to keep the environment clean for them,” said Luong Quang Nghi, deputy chairman of the People’s Committee in Vinh Hiep Commune.
“Besides, we have also worked with local police to maintain security and traffic flow."
According to Nghi, the place is mostly home to Ba Na people who have protected the spring and the jungle flame trees for generations.
“We really hope that tourists coming here will cooperate with us in preserving the place’s natural landscape and environment,” he said.
