The Department of Tourism of Da Nang City on Saturday unveiled a summer tourism stimulus program, offering attractive promotional packages where customers can secure round-trip air tickets to the coastal city in central Vietnam and enjoy a two-night stay in a 3-star hotel for just about VND3 million (US$118).
The program is available without limitations from this month until September 30.
Specifically, options include a VND2.89 million ($113) combo with Vietjet round-trip airfare and two nights at a 3-star hotel with airport shuttle.
For VND3.09 million ($121), travelers can choose a package featuring round-trip airfare with Vietnam Airlines and a two-night stay at a 3-star hotel, with pick-up service from the airport to the hotel.
Alternatively, they can opt for Vietjet round-trip airfare and a two-night stay at a 4-star hotel with airport pick-up.
The VND3.29 million ($129) package offers round-trip airfare with Vietnam Airlines and a two-night stay at a 4-star hotel, including pick-up service from the airport to the hotel.
Alternatively, tourists can select Vietjet round-trip airfare and enjoy a two-night stay at a 5-star hotel with shuttle service from the airport to the hotel.
Those preferring a more luxurious experience can purchase a package at VND3.49 million ($137) for Vietnam Airlines round-trip airfare and a two-night stay at a 5-star hotel.
The affordability of the packages is attributed to the night flight schedules, from 11:00 pm to 6:00 am, and the availability of accommodations ranging from 3 to 5 stars in Da Nang City.
Numerous prominent accommodation establishments are partaking in this program, such as Furama Resort Da Nang, Muong Thanh Luxury Song Han, Wink Hotel Danang Riverside, Wink Hotel Danang Center, New Orient, Muong Thanh Grand Da Nang, Samdi, The Code Hotel & Spa, Nhu Minh Plaza, Eden Plaza Da Nang, Minh Toan Galaxy, Cong Doan Thanh Binh, Bien Vang, Pariat, Temple, Nature Da Nang, Roliva, CosMos, and more.

Truong Thi Hong Hanh, director of Da Nang City’s Department of Tourism, stated the program aims to boost tourism by introducing new products and services that mitigate rising airfare costs.
Additionally, Da Nang will host over 15 events from July to September, including the International Fireworks Festival, Da Nang Summer Enjoyment Festival, Vietnam-Japan Festival, Vietnam-South Korea Festival, Asian Development Golf Tournament 2024, and new festivals along the Han River.
During this period, there is also a nighttime program offering service packages starting from VND1 million ($39), covering two nights in 3-5 star hotels and unique shows featuring renowned Vietnamese and international artists and athletes.
“To ensure high-quality service, the Da Nang Department of Tourism and the Da Nang Tourism Association will rigorously oversee the program,” Hanh stated.
“We will monitor feedback and suggestions through the Da Nang City Tourist Support Center hotline at 02363550111 to safeguard tourists’ rights and enhance their experience in Da Nang.”
In January-May, it is estimated that over 3.78 million tourists stayed in Da Nang, marking a growth of over 22 percent and more than 37 percent compared to the same period in 2023 and 2019, respectively.
Among these, international travelers surpassed 1.5 million arrivals, reflecting a nearly 27-percent rise from 2023 and a 24-percent increase from 2019, while domestic visitors exceeded 2.28 million arrivals, up over 20 percent from 2023 and 48 percent from 2019.
The city’s accommodation, food, and travel revenue in January-May exceeded VND13 trillion ($510.7 million), an increase of over 28 percent from the same period in 2023 and a 27-percent rise from 2019.
