Explore natural beauty, traditional culture

As the first farmstay in the mountainous district of Huong Hoa, ‘Nam Mua (Five-Seasons) Bungalow,’ located in Xa Ry Village in Huong Phung Commune, has lured visitors thanks to its distinctive tourism services.

Staying in an airy and natural space, tourists can enjoy fresh air, refresh their mind and body, and explore coffee gardens together with a beverage production facility.

Moreover, traditional food of ethnic minority people in western Quang Tri Province will be served to guests.

Tourists in the farmstay, about 25 kilometers from Khe Sanh Town in northern Huong Hoa District, can travel along Ho Chi Minh Road to approach countless famous tourist sites such as the Dakrong suspension bridge, Ta Con Airport, Khe Sanh Victory Statue, Dakrong Waterfall, Sa Mu Pass, and a breathtaking wind power farm.

The place, with a temperate climate and fertile soil, is mainly home to the Van Kieu ethnic minority.

‘Nam Mua Bungalow’ includes eight houses that were designed as traditional stilt houses of the Van Kieu ethnic minority people. The lodging facility can serve some 30 guests at a time.

Tourists can enjoy the mildness of forests, rivers, streams and waterfalls, admire flowers at dawn and dust, and savor numerous specialties like chickens, mountain pigs, stream fish, forest vegetables, and wine.

Such a community tourism model contributes to raising locals’ income, promoting ethnic minority groups’ cultural identities, and honoring natural landscapes.

Ideal stop on mountainous site

Lying in Cua Village in Huong Tan Commune under Huong Hoa District, Bao Nguyen Xanh Homestay enchants travelers with its distinctive and bewitching decoration styles. The main colors of green and blue highlight the homestay amidst the mountain.

Bao Nguyen Xanh, which covers some two hectares, was put into service in late December last year.

The homestay’s proximity to multiple heritage sites and renowned tourist destinations makes it attractive to holidaymakers.

The lodging facility is over 20 kilometers from the Lao Bao international border gate.

The structure is associated with the Van Kieu group’s cultural features, consisting of a hi-tech flower garden, a fruit farm, and a fish pond.

Since the 2023 Lunar New Year holiday, or Tet, the homestay has welcomed thousands of guests.

“I am very glad to welcome many visitors to the homestay after opening it, which is often fully booked,” said Le Sy Hue, owner of Bao Nguyen Xanh Homestay.

“We are working to complete the construction of three more guesthouses to meet the soaring demand."
